Upon arrival at the airport or pre - requested location in Colombo. You will meet Hendrick tours representative. Thereafter you will travel directly to the Hikkaduwa area. You have opportunity either spends the day relaxing of the pool or walk towards beach as much as you can.
After having breakfast at hotel, spend the Hikkaduwa beach and night life make it a popular tourist destination. It is a well - known international destination for board - surfing. Hikkaduwa Coral sanctuary is located a few hundred meters offshore. The sanctuary has approximately seventy varieties of multi colored.
After having breakfast at hotel, leave for Galle Fort, a UNESCO heritage site, is a bustling place enclosed by ramparts where the locals gather at sunset to fly kites, play cricket and stroll to the light house the narrow, cobbled streets house laid back cafes, banquet hotels, and artesian workshops. Outside fourths walls are long stretches beach backed by coconut plums and lush hill side. Beside Galle fort lies Lady Sea bathes, the locals preferred beach ideal for diving snorkeling surfing or having a midday snack at a beach cafe.
After having breakfast at hotel, leave for Unawatuna beach sea turtles wade a shore have to lay eggs between October and April. Stilt fisherman perched on stakes out at sea visible from Ahangama beach.
After early breakfast at hotel, leave for whale watching. Early at sea with your binocular scanning the water all being well you will get up close and see the largest mammal on earth your own eyes.
After having breakfast at hotel, leave for Madu Ganga boat ride. There are totally 64 islands in Madu Ganga. This tour will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. During your boats ride, you can see mangrove forest by the river banks, which is made out of mangrove. You can see many birds and animals that are living in this aquatic environment.
After having breakfast at hotel, leave for Kosgoda turtle hatchery center. This conservation project is operated by the life protection society of Sri Lanka's turtles from extinction. Since then it has already released about 3.5 million baby turtles into the wild. The hatchery pays fishermen for eggs that they collect at height along the long sandy beach. Although, from October to April is the main season for laying eggs, some eggs mostly green turtles can be found at Kosgoda throughout the year.
After having breakfast at hotel, all good things must come to an end. Your Hendrick tours representative with comfortable take you back to the international airport for a safety return journey.
